Continuation

So now ive finished huron's base and it turned out nice. As well as some marines.

I like how they have turned out and cant wait to get them on the battle field in the near future and that will be even sooner. My Night lords models have arrived and ive been putting them together, and i ordered the rest of my army which includes: 30 marines, 2 vindicators, and 4 rhinos.

my ideas furthered into what they are now; the army list will consist of mainly marines transported and some heavy tank support (as well as be used as a Imperial Armour: Tyrant's Legion).

The scheme of the army ive decided to keep the same, but a good way to distinguish the normal marines to the chosen marines ive decided to use normal chaos marines for the chosen, and then vanilla marines as the normal marines. In doing this im going to further customise the vanilla marines to look like the surviving Astral Claws just turned to the side of chaos. Painting them would be something likel; silver astral claws, with a red shoulder pad with unit insignia and then the other shoulder with the astral claws symbol with maby abit of rust. For the tanks i havent yet decided on what to do with them, make them like astral claws tanks with some red corsairs touch-ups.

Now all i can do is wait untill my models come in so i can start building and getting them into the fight.

Thinking...

Lately ive had a strong influence to do a Night Lords army Red Corsairs and have the Night Lords be as their backup and allies.

The main reason for this is because i recieved my box of Night Lords in the mail. Now all i have to do is come up with a very nive painting scheme for them, im thinking something like the conventional GW style with my own interpretation of how they would look,
So to start with painting ideas:
Armour: black with gold trim and the lightning (dark blue - blue - white)
Shoulder pad: Red for the design, gold or silver with the Night Lord transfer)
Helmet: all red with silver trims.

I think a more gothic look for the Night lords would look more appropreate.

Now on to the Red Corsairs, all ive done lately is finish my Huron Blackheart and started some marines. Pictures will come once they have more colour on them, right now they are dark with bits of red.

As a final note, im thinking the army will be more of a gothic style which seems appropreate for the space marine chaperts that went rogue and didnt follow a chaos god (something that appeals to me).

Next post i should put up some shots of the finished Blackheart and the other marines.

The Begining

This is the begining of my Red Corsairs reign of CHAOS and torture on the univirse.
Firstly i started with a Huron Blackheart finecast model and painted him up very nicely dont you think?

Next to come will be a nice scenic base for him and a small squad of Chaos Marines to act as his right hand men the Red Corsairs.

Currently i have a 8 man squad of Chaos Space Marienes and have built them up as well as a squad of bloodletters to be the lesser daemons for the army.

My intended army for Huron Blackheart's rign of Chaos will be soemthing like; Blackheart with a Chosen squad with flamers and bolt pistols with chain swords in a rhino or a landraider (or preferably in a drop pod, the next hopeful thing to be released in the next chaos space marines codex), a Chaos Space Marines (Red Corsairs) squad with flamer and melta gun with bolters in a rhino to aid Blackheart up close to the action, a Night Lords Chaos Space Marines squad weith bolters and heavy bolters to act as mid range support and hold objectives in the middle of the field, lesser daemons of chaos (bloodletters) as well as a greater daemon of chaos (skulltaker) for a nice supprise attacking units that will pop up where needed, and im still thinknig for something to spice up the army even more, maby some raptors or terminators.

**just as a side note: the bloodletter and skulltaker are because im also planing to run a chaos daemons army in the future for something different as i currently play dark eldar.
